Series Championship · 2026–27
Turn your race days into a season-long challenge. Take part in at least three events, including the Mission Bay finale, and you’re automatically in the Series Competition.

Finale participation required
Your 2026–27 season
Choose at least three races. Race 4 at Mission Bay must be one of them.
How it works
We add together your three highest event scores. The athletes with the highest totals place in their respective age groups. Race all four and your lowest score drops out; you must still take part in the finale.
A Series Pass or individual race entries both count. Use the same name and date of birth on every registration so your points can be matched across the season.
100
Points for your
age-group winner
Event scoring
The first-placed male and female athletes in each Series age group earn 100 points. Other athletes receive points based on their time relative to that winner’s time. The closer your finish, the closer your score is to 100.
Series age groups
Your Series age group is based on your age on 8 November 2026, the first event of the season. It stays the same throughout the series, even if you have a birthday along the way.
Individual event age groups use your age on race day. Your Series points continue to be calculated against the age group you started the season in.
For example: if you’re 49 on 8 November 2026 and turn 50 in January 2027, you stay in the 40–49 Series age group all season. Your individual event age group can change after your birthday, but winning that group doesn’t automatically mean 100 Series points.
If two athletes are tied for the highest points total and have raced one another during the series, the winner is the athlete with the greater average winning margin over the other in their shared events.
